Gary Ten Eyck, M.S., Ph.D.
Associate Professor, Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences
Prior to joining TCOP, he was an Associate Professor and Director of the M.S. Graduate Program at Western Michigan University School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, MI. His previous academic experience includes service as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, College of Pharmacy, University of Hawaii at Hilo, HI; as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Creighton University Medical Center Department of Biological and Dental Sciences in Pocatello, ID; as a National Science Foundation Research Fellow, Research Scientist and Lecturer at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI; and as a Visiting Professor at the New York University College of Dentistry Department of Basic Science. He has taught courses at the undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate and Pharm.D. level. His extensive teaching experience includes pathophysiology, pharmacology, neuropharmacology, advanced psychopharmacology, pharmacogenetics, immunology, micro/viral toxicology and environmental toxicology. He has spoken and presented widely at academic and scientific conferences, primarily in the area of neuroscience. His extensive list of publication credits includes, most recently, articles in Physiology and Behavior, the Annual of Pediatric Cardiology, and Physiology and Behavior.
Dr. Ten Eyck received his B.S. and M.S. in Biology/Chemistry from Central Michigan University; a Ph.D. in Biological Science (Neuroscience) from the University of South Dakota School of Medicine; and was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Neuropharmacology at the University of Michigan.
