After receiving her PharmD, Dr. Sorbera went on to complete her PGY-1 at the NY Harbor VA Medical Center. During this time she developed an interest in Ambulatory Care.  To further her interests, she chose to specialize by completing a PGY-2 in Ambulatory Care at The Brooklyn Hospital Center.  Throughout her PGY-1 and PGY-2 experiences, she was able to play a key role in the development of new clinics focused in HIV and Hepatitis C.  She has recently joined us as Assistant Professor of Pharmacy Practice while continuing at Brookdale Medical Center as her practice site.  Her research interests include HIV, Hepatitis C and anticoagulation.
