Interesting past work
Kamal worked as a pharmacy technician at Walgreens for almost 4 years. Why? “I knew I wanted to be on the science path and also keep my options open. So I thought ‘let’s see where this takes me.’ It was a great learning opportunity. Flu season was crazy!”
Why pharmacy?
“It’s diverse. I can work in a chain or community pharmacy, be a hospital pharmacist, or own my own pharmacy. I love learning – it gets in your blood – so I enjoy having the option to challenge myself professionally in the future.”
Fun fact
“I moved with my family to Texas nearly 16 years ago from India.”
