Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP)’s student chapter of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP) recently held a fundraiser for The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s® Disease, in which TCOP students participate every October. ASCP members sold hot dogs and chips in the baseball-themed fundraiser, which sold out within an hour and a half. “For the next school year, we plan on exploring new fundraising ideas to help raise more money,” said Phoebe Wong, president of ASCP’s student chapter.
“Alzheimer’s is the sixth leading cause of death nationwide, so there’s so much we can do to raise awareness.”
