As a preceptor for the Touro College of Pharmacy you’ll shape students’ education while increasing opportunities for your own career. You’ll mentor students during their Introductory (IPPE) and Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experiences (APPE) and support student growth through your hands-on teaching, structured evaluations, and fostering professional identity formation. Minimum Requirements

  • All pharmacy preceptors must be licensed pharmacists who have a minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy practice experience.
  • Specialty preceptors (Internal Medicine, Ambulatory Care, Acute Care, etc) must be licensed pharmacists who:
    • Have a minimum of two (2) years of pharmacy practice experience; OR
    • Have successfully completed a PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency and six (6) months pharmacy practice experience
