Dr. Braverman was born and raised in New York City. He started as an intern in both a retail pharmacy and NYU Langone in New York during his university years. It was in NYU in the IV room where he found his passion for sterile preparations and never looked back. Dr. Braverman is a Board-Certified Sterile Compounding Pharmacist, with expertise in sterile and non-sterile compounding (USP <795>, <797> and <800>). Additionally, he has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical sector with the emphasis on quality management systems, compliance, and regulatory domains. Expertise in product complaints, in handling FDA 483s, Warning Letters, facility design, deviation investigations, internal and external audits, CAPAs, change controls, handling batch releases, and adverse event monitoring of the marketed drug products. Dr. Braverman teaches in both the Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding labs. Dr. Braverman has taught APPE students from Long Island University in Drug Information and Compounding, and he is excited to teach here at Touro College of Pharmacy!
