Dr. Dominick Panzera brings a strong foundation in acute care and internal medicine to Touro College of Pharmacy. He completed his postgraduate training at Wyckoff Heights Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he served as Chief Resident, actively participating in clinical services, code response, and pharmacy-led initiatives to improve patient care.
His hospital-based experience spans internal medicine, cardiology, infectious diseases, and emergency medicine. He has presented research on anticoagulation and pharmacogenetics at national pharmacy conferences and co-authored peer-reviewed publications in both pharmaceutical sciences and clinical practice.
Dr. Panzera is passionate about teaching and mentoring. He has delivered targeted in-services to clinical teams on topics including stroke management, multimodal pain strategies, and antimicrobial stewardship. He has contributed to pharmacy education by teaching several didactic courses and holds both Leadership and Teaching Certificates from Touro University.
In his current role, he integrates real-world clinical experience into the classroom to prepare students for the complexities of modern pharmacy practice.
