Isabella Youngberg, PharmD

Dr. Isabella Youngberg pursued a career in pharmacy to improve patient outcomes and advance the quality of healthcare, and has shown a history of continued involvement in various aspects of pharmacy. A former President of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy student chapter at Rutgers, Dr. Youngberg has experience in both community and hospital pharmacy. At Walgreens and Milltown pharmacy, she provided Covid-19 testing and answered patient queries regarding medications and vaccines. At Robert Wood Johnson Children's Specialized Hospital, she prepared sterile and hazardous medications and applied drug information principles to identify appropriate dosing in pediatric patients. Her interest in drug information was initially sparked during an Advanced Pharmacy Practice Experience (APPE) at a Medication-Use Safety and Information Center and further developed at a phactMI Medical Information APPE, where she gained experience evaluating medical literature and translating complex scientific data into practical clinical insights.

As the current Drug Information Fellow at Touro College of Pharmacy, Isabella responds to medical inquiries and is a publishing editor for the Touro Pharmacy Newsletter. She enjoys literature evaluation and healthcare professional education and is committed to helping clinicians navigate challenging questions using the best available evidence. These experiences solidified her passion for drug information and its role in supporting informed healthcare decision-making.
