Leadership Certificate Program for PGY-2 Pharmacy Residents and Fellows
Pharmacists have the unique responsibility to act as leaders when caring for patients. This certificate is designed to introduce pharmacy residents and fellows to relevant aspects of pharmacy leadership, and help you first develop yourself, focusing on the knowledge and skills needed to promote personal and professional growth. The goal is that over time, you will translate this to organizational leadership in whichever practice area you pursue.
The multi-modal educational delivery system includes on-campus seminars, readings, online assignments, self-assessments, faculty didactic presentations, resident/fellow presentations, and experiential skill development.
What you'll learn
As part of the certificate you’ll attend interactive on-campus seminars, take part in experiential learning exercises and self-assessments, review case studies and leader interview presentations, experience an applied leadership practicum, develop a leadership portfolio, and more.
In order to successfully complete the leadership certificate program, you will need to attend and participate in all ten seminar sessions and submit a final leadership portfolio.
