Hi! I am proud to call Brooklyn my hometown. After graduating from Wesleyan University with a double major in Biology and Italian Studies, along with a minor in Chemistry, I spent one year exploring healthcare professions during which I had the opportunity to shadow a team of hospital pharmacists. Witnessing their commitment to ensuring the best possible patient care solidified my desire to pursue a career in pharmacy. I'm eager to further explore the wide array of pharmacy experiences that TCOP offers its students, starting right from the first year.

As a student ambassador here at Touro College of Pharmacy, I'm excited to share my experiences and insights with you. I understand the difficulties and rewards of starting a new academic chapter, especially in the vibrant environment of New York City. When I'm not busy with my studies, you can often find me taking dance classes, staying active in the gym, or exploring the endless culinary delights that NYC has to offer. Hi everyone! I was born and raised in Queens, New York. I graduated from St. John’s University with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry and earned an MS in Biomedical Sciences with a track in Oral Biology and Pathology from Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine. Although I began on the pre-dental track, my experiences in various healthcare settings led me to discover TCOP and the vast field of pharmacy. I currently work as a pharmacy intern at CVS and love being able to apply what I learn in school to support my patients. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, trying new cuisines, building legos, and binge-watching TV shows. Hi everyone! I was born and raised in the Bronx where I attended CUNY Lehman College and earned my Bachelor of Science in Anthropology, Biology and Chemistry with a minor in business law. I first discovered my passion for pharmacy while working at a small community pharmacy. That experience opened my eyes to the impact pharmacists can have on patients’ lives and inspired me to pursue the field further. When I’m not in school, I love spending time with my family, traveling, and enjoying the outdoors. My goal as a student ambassador is to help guide incoming students on their new journey at TCOP, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions!

Hello everyone! I serve as a co-representative for the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy, a new org at TCOP. I was born in Brooklyn, NY, and moved to Staten Island, NY, in 2012. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in health science from Wagner College in 2026. 

Outside of school, I am a certified pharmacy technician for CVS. I am excited to serve as a TCOP Admissions Student Ambassador so that I can share my knowledge and experience as a pharmacy student. Navigating the pharmacy application process and pharmacy school can be challenging and overwhelming. Still, the faculty, staff, and even your peers are so supportive and consistently make sure you are thriving. Welcome to Touro College of Pharmacy! Born and raised in Sierra Leone, I now reside in the Bronx with my family. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience with a minor in STEM Education from The George Washington University.

My journey toward pharmacy began when I visited the Pharm4me booth at the USA Science & Engineering Festival. Since then, I have gained practical insight by shadowing a clinical pharmacist and volunteering at a community pharmacy. Outside the classroom, I help care for my little sister and enjoy exploring nature, visiting local museums, and spending time at botanical gardens. I look forward to connecting with you, sharing my perspective as a Touro student, answering your questions, and offering practical advice to help you navigate your journey.

Hi! I’m a pharmacy student at Touro College of Pharmacy with a background in education, I hold a bachelor’s degree in teaching. My journey from the classroom to the world of pharmacy has been driven by a passion for helping others, learning, and making a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

As an ambassador, I’m excited to share my unique perspective with prospective students, especially those coming from nontraditional paths. Touro has provided me with a supportive, enriching environment where I’ve been able to grow both personally and professionally. Howdy! I’m originally from Houston, Texas. I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science in Health and a minor in Psychology. During my college years, I explored a variety of passions, from serving as a camp counselor and mentoring first-year students to conducting research and co-founding a nonprofit organization focused on reducing health disparities.

Interestingly, I originally started on the pre-dental track, but my perspective changed after shadowing a dentist who had previously worked as a pharmacist. Through our conversations, I learned how medication management, drug interactions, and patient education influence nearly every aspect of healthcare. Seeing the impact pharmacists have on patients' lives inspired me to pursue pharmacy, where I can combine my interests in science, patient care, and helping others achieve better health outcomes.

Outside of academics, I enjoy getting lost in a good book, experimenting in the kitchen, trying new restaurants, and exploring everything New York City has to offer. Hello! I am a non-traditional student that has lived all over the world. I have my clinical license and advanced degree in clinical psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy. As a result of working in the mental health field, I have many unique experiences and an interesting outlook on mental health and its impact on the community. This is also one of the major reasons that I am seeking my degree in Pharmacy at TCOP! My hobbies are running marathons and eating delicious food. I love dogs and adopted a terrier chihuahua mix, named Littlefoot. Hi everyone! I’m from New Milford, New Jersey. I came to TCOP from Susquehanna University, where I graduated with two Bachelor of Science degrees, one in Chemistry and one in Biomedical Sciences. During undergrad, I was also a student-athlete on the softball team and helped bring home a conference championship during my first year. I also worked as a pharmacy technician at CVS, which gave me valuable experience in the pharmacy setting.

I’ve always been drawn to the complexity of pharmacy and the vital role pharmacists play in patient care. I see pharmacists as the last line of defense—helping ensure medications are used safely, identifying harmful drug interactions, and protecting patient health.

Balancing two degrees, athletics, and work has taught me a lot about time management and perseverance, and it allows me to mentor others who may feel like they have a lot on their plate. Outside of school, you can usually find me weightlifting, detailing cars, or baking cookies for classmates!

Greetings Everyone! Welcome to Touro! Although my name is Vishwanauth, I usually go by ‘Vish.’ I am a dual degree graduate from Herbert H. Lehman College where I completed my BSc in Biomedical Sciences, and BBA in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Accounting, and also an MPH graduate from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, School Of Public Health, where my final year thesis focused on, ‘Pharmaceutical Spending & Innovation: A Multivariable Analysis On Pharmaceutical Costs Allocation And Its Effects On Medical Innovation And Healthcare Progression.’ 

I’ve always been confident that I would be involved in the healthcare field ever since I was a child. I’ve also worked as a Pharmacy Technician ever since I moved to the US in 2018, at the age of 17, and I have been exposed to almost every facet of pharmacy ever since, and I continually fall in love with the profession.

I am deeply fascinated by the Pharmacoeconomics and Health Policy field. I also have interests in the fields of economic and policy research/analysis, public health, and finance. Outside of academia, I am an avid tennis player, and I love to do anything outdoors-oriented, ranging from sightseeing, photography, hiking, camping, and fishing.

I am truly excited to have the opportunity to welcome you and aid in your transition to Touro College of Pharmacy, and I look forward to being of assistance to the best of my abilities!

Hello everyone! I was born and raised on Eastern Long Island. Before starting at Touro College of Pharmacy, I graduated from Stony Brook University with a B.S. in Biochemistry. Since high school, I was always fascinated with medicine and its prevention and treatment of diseases. During undergrad, I started at CVS Pharmacy and worked my way up to Senior Certified Pharmacy Technician. This experience has strengthened my love for the pharmacy field while making an impact on my local community. 

I am someone who commutes a long distance to campus every day, and I want other students to know that it’s completely doable! I enjoy helping others, and as a student ambassador, I want to provide the knowledge and guidance I wish I had when I started my journey! Hello and welcome to TCOP! I was born on Long Island and grew up in Southwestern Connecticut. Growing up, I always knew I wanted to work in healthcare, as I had helped family members manage their chronic health conditions and found a deep fascination in the molecular basis of the human body. For my undergraduate degree, I attended Manhattanville University, majoring in biology and minoring in sociology and chemistry. During my time there I worked as a certified pharmacy technician at CVS in my hometown. I had found a love for the field of pharmacy, patient care, and patient advocacy during this time, and knew I wanted to pursue pharmacy as my career. Here at TCOP, I have been involved in publications, various school organizations, and many on-campus events, and am proud of the community I am a part of. 

As a member of the admissions ambassador program, I would love to share my experiences and guidance with incoming students, and to just chat! The prospect of beginning your doctorate degree can be frightening, and I’d like to help make this transitional period less stressful. During my free time, I enjoy sewing and mending clothes, drawing, being a nerd about birds and Transformers, and looking for good food spots around the city. Hello everyone! I was born and raised in Westchester County, NY. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a concentration in Biomedical Sciences. My time as a pharmacy technician fostered a profound enthusiasm and appreciation for the pharmacy profession. I had the opportunity to witness the level of expertise and the meaningful role pharmacists have in patient care. Along with recognizing my passion through helping Spanish-speaking patients navigate their healthcare needs, these experiences ultimately drove me to pursue a career in pharmacy. Hello everyone! I was born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Bronx, I graduated in 2022 from SUNY Potsdam with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. During my time there, I was actively involved in research, collaborating with both students and faculty. My passion for science began at a young age, but it was a medicinal chemistry course that solidified my interest in pursuing a career in the field. Now a student at TCOP, I’ve had a great experience so far and have been fortunate to meet and learn alongside many inspiring individuals. Welcome to Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP)! I am a passionate and motivated Pakistani-American pharmacy student at the TCOP. I will soon start Touro University's Master of Business Administration (MBA) collaborative program. Before joining the TCOP family, I graduated from City College of New York with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry in 2023, and I also became a certified pharmacy technician.

During my undergraduate years, I made a concerted effort to learn as much as possible about biomedical research and pursued reading scientific literature in pharmacology and structural biology. In addition, I sought to help people by becoming a health professional, which led me to the field of pharmacy, a perfect intersection of healthcare and research.

The committed TCOP faculty, the student support systems, the extracurriculars, and the collaborative degree programs are only some of the many reasons why you will be a successful pharmacist if you pursue your PharmD at TCOP. Hello Everyone! I am originally from Pakistan but grew up and spent my whole life in Brooklyn, New York. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The City College Of New York. I had a passion for the healthcare field very early on and always knew I would end up somewhere within the field. I have numerous years of experience working in different areas of healthcare, from working at hospitals to working with primary care physicians. These experiences have made it very evident that my passion for healthcare and helping others is very strong. Outside of school, I love spending time with family and friends and watching Netflix. I am thrilled to be a part of the TCOP family and to see how my passions and skills will play out in the field of pharmacy throughout my four years here.
