Sandeep Kaur, Class of 2027

Hi! I am from New Jersey and graduated from Seton Hall University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I later graduated from Long Island University in Brooklyn in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Health Science. I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in healthcare, as I have consistently volunteered in hospitals, providers’ offices, and as an EMS volunteer.

During my gap year, I worked at a pain management facility where we had a compounding pharmacy next door. Many of our patients went to that pharmacy for their medication needs. I often had the opportunity to visit the pharmacy and gain experience with the pharmacist, who was very welcoming and eager for us to see firsthand what it is like to be a pharmacist. I was truly inspired by him and by how compounding pharmacy changed the lives of our patients. This experience ultimately led me to pursue a career as a pharmacist.

Outside of my studies, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cooking and baking, and exploring new places. I hope to inspire others by sharing my experiences and supporting the next generation of pharmacy professionals. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions!
