Summer Research Fellow Program

The Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP) will provide support for a limited number of student research assistant positions for the summer months. Faculty interested in supervising a summer student to support their research and scholarship efforts are encouraged to submit an application.

Program Requirements and Details:

Eligibility:

Undergraduate or graduate student; preference given to a Touro student
8 – 10 weeks; fulltime; 5 days / week

Research scope:

Laboratory Research; basic or applied
Data analysis; epidemiology; biostatistics
Clinical; drug/diagnostic/device evaluation; clinical trials

Approval Process:

Discuss with Chair; obtain Chair’s approval
Submit application with Chair’s approval to Research Council
Research Council reviews and makes recommendation
Dean signoff indicates final approval

Student award recipients will present their research at the end of the summer
