Class of 2023 Achievement of Touro College of Pharmacy Learning Outcomes
In 2016, the Touro College of Pharmacy (TCOP) developed its Learning Outcomes by adapting the 2013 Center for the Advancement of Pharmacy Education (CAPE) Educational Outcomes. TCOP works with pharmacy preceptors from different settings to evaluate student performance on pharmacy practice activities that are linked to the Touro College of Pharmacy Learning Outcomes. Each preceptor rates student performance on a 3-point scale, where 1-Deficient, 2- Competent and 3-Excellent. The chart below suggests that after completing all the advanced pharmacy practice experiences (APPEs), on average 2023 TCOP graduates are above competent and nearing excellence in all the 15 TCOP Learning Outcomes.
Ratings are based on a scale of 1-3 where 1-Deficient, 2-Competent, 3- Excellent
