Mr. Davis serves as the Project Manager of the Center for Pharmacy Education and Pharmacist Care Services, funded by a Center of Excellence grant from the Health Resources and Services Administration. He is a veteran higher education manager whose career has stretched across an array of post-secondary education, healthcare, and non-profit organizations.

He has served in professional society leadership positions and has extensive volunteer service in the community. His university-level appointments have spanned pre-award, post-award, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, audit, policy development, and human resources management, and he has carried out those responsibilities within both department/school and central administration offices. Most recently he was the first director of the Office of Sponsored Programs at Touro. In that role, he managed all pre-award activities, and coordinated our human subjects’ compliance committees, our intramural grant programs, and our university-wide Research Day. Additionally, he was the Executive Officer of our Research Council and served as a reviewer of proposals on intramural grant committees.

Mr. Davis is a native New Yorker who grew up in a community in Brooklyn predominately populated by racial, ethnic, and religious minorities, a background that informs his work on behalf of the URM focus of the COE.
